Corephy 96ch-AWG AAWG DWDM Mux Demux
96ch-awg is an athermal AWG DWDM MUX/DEMUX equipment with dual fiber for aggregation of 96 channels in a 1U rack mount. Customized wavelengths, spectrum shape and port configuration are available.
Temperature stability is critical for AWG performance in harsh environments. A thermal deformation of the temperature compensation board (a) and bolt (b) can affect the AWG channel wavelengths.
High Density
The 96ch 50Ghz AAWG DWDM Module based on silica on silicon planar technology, is designed for ITU channel spacing application with 96 channels. Compared to filter-type DWDM products, GEZHI AAWG modules 96ch-awg are totally passive devices that do not require any electrical power supply or temperature control.
The Athermal AWG DWDM equipment complies with the CWDM and DWDM-PON applications in FTTH/BTO/Cable TV networks. It adopts Silica-on-Silicon planar technology and uses non-hear sensitive structure eliminating the need for chip temperture control, so it can be used in harsh environment like -40°C+85°C.
The Athermal AWG MUX/DEMUX can be easily integrated into the customer’s network and is a standalone passive optical device with no electrical power and temperature control requirements. It offers a wide range of options for spectrum shape, port configuration (1310nm and monitoring ports available), operating wavelength, fiber type, and input connectors. The 96 channel DWDM Mux DEMUX is perfectly suited to transport PDH, SDH/SONET, and Ethernet services in optical metro edge and access networks. It can be deployed with a variety of OTUs/OLPs/EDFA/DCF equipment. The 96 channel DWDM Mux/DEMUX can also provide a Monitor optical monitoring port for real-time channel quality monitoring.
Low Loss
Corephy’s 96ch AAWG DWDM Mux Demux is high-density, low-loss and standalone passive optical module. It is a scalable, cost-effective solution for high capacity terminal DWDM solutions. It smart home allows multiplexing of up to 96 wavelengths per fiber pair by using high quality AAWG technology and can perform MUX/DEMUX functions. It is ideal for transporting PDH, SDH / SONET and ETHERNET services over WDM, CWDM or DWDM in optical metro edge and access networks.
96ch AAWG Mux Demux is based on silicon planar technic and adopts non-hear sensitive structure eliminating the need for chip temperture control. This makes the device completely passive and requires no electrical power or software for operation. It is also available in a wide range of wavelengths, packages and fiber options. We can customize the device to meet your specific requirements.
High Temperature Stabilization

It is perfectly suited for transport PDH/SDH/SONET/ETHERNET services in the metro edge and access networks. Using athermalization techniques and no electrical power or temperature control, the module operates over wide operating temperature range with excellent insertion loss, easy channel isolation, and low power consumption. Various combinations of spectrum shape, port configuration (1310nm and monitoring ports available), operating wavelength, package type, and fiber length are available for customized solutions.
The device adopts silica on silicon planar technology, with no need for chip temperture control, making it a highly reliable product. It offers a simple, cost-effective solution for DWDM terminal applications.
Low Power Consumption
96ch-awg provides many advantages, especially in the electrical industry. For example, it has a consistent cross-sectional area and is easier to work with. This consistency helps prevent errors and improves productivity. It also allows users to design products with confidence and reduce the need for rework. Its straightforward design and use means that it is accessible to anyone in the industry, regardless of their experience or background.
Another reason why 96ch-awg is so useful is that it increases the physical strength of wires. This feature is particularly important for signal-carrying wires like audio hookup (RCA or S/PDIF) and video interconnect (VGA, DVI or HDMI). It helps them resist breakage from bending or pulling and protects them against damage.
